Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my kids grow into good, strong humans while knowing I had a hand in shaping who they are. In so many ways, we’ve grown up together. With each child, I’ve become more patient, more understanding, and more aware of what truly matters. I’ve literally birthed my best friends the ones who’ve made me laugh the hardest, love the deepest, and grow the most. There’s nothing greater than knowing I’m raising incredible humans and being their mom.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that perfect isn’t real. It’s in the messy, everyday moments the laughter, the tears, the mistakes, and the little victories that we grow. Motherhood has made me stronger, more resilient, and more forgiving. Motherhood has taught me everything I need to know about life in a short 15 years.

What would you do with $20,000?

My husband has worked very hard in this life time for us. When I went back to school it was to help take the financial burden off of him. Right after nursing school we were asked to leave our rental. My husband found a rinky dink old home that needs completely remodeled we work little by little every week to make it our forever home. I would use the 20,000 to make this home the home where my kids will finish growing, and will one day come home for Sunday dinners with their own families.
