Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing a smile on my daughter’s face and teaching me how to love unconditionally. The connection between a daughter and mother is like no other-she will light up my day or night when times get tough or stressful. It’s a blessing to know that I have my daughter to look beyond what’s on the surface and dive deeper into a land of positivity and happiness. Hearing the four letter words, “I Love You Mama”, has been the greatest reward of all time.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me to be a strong, confident, and resilient woman. I am capable of conquering my fears. Motherhood has given me that immense rush of confidence. I have the ability to make better life decisions and choices for myself and the family. I can fully stand up for my family without my fears overtaking up my thoughts. It is the greatest blessing that has shaped my personality as a Mother, Daughter, Wife, Sister, and a HUMAN. Motherhood has created a better version of myself.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would donate a substantial amount to charity/organization; more specifically to mothers and children in need and especially those with developmental and physical delays. As a mother, it can be overwhelming to see a child unable to achieve developmental milestones hence, it would greatly bring a positive change for many families. I would also use the money to build a playroom for my daughter and expand the living space. More importantly, this will be a memorable journey for my daughter as well.
