What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

It’s seeing your kids feel safe with you. Knowing that when they’re hurt, scared, or just need comfort, you’re the place they run to. That kind of trust is huge. It’s watching them grow into their own little people hearing the things they say, seeing their personalities come out, noticing the way they pick up on your love and reflect it back in their own way. It’s the quiet moments too. The cuddles, the random “I love you,” the way they look at you like you’re their whole world.

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that real strength comes from putting my kids first, even when it’s hard. It’s taught me how to set boundaries, to protect their peace, and to create a safe, loving environment no matter what’s going on around us. What would you do with $20,000?

If I had $20,000, the first thing I’d do is make sure my girls and I are secure and stable. I’d use it to get us into a place where we truly have our own space and peace, without feeling uncomfortable or on edge. Having a safe, private home for us would be my top priority. I’d set some aside for emergencies, so I’m not constantly stressed about “what if something happens.” Just having that cushion would take a lot of pressure off.
