I get to be for my kids what I always needed! I watch them not know what an “eviction” is or have ever had dinner passing around a can of corn. Growing up with addict parents and poor was a struggle daily and watching them be so happy and not feel like they are without is everything.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?It has taught me that in order to provide peace and strength for my girls, I have to heal and take care of myself as well. I also have to be the example of setting boundaries and watching who I allow in my life.
What would you do with $20,000?I would put the money towards either getting a working car, as my car is a 2005 and needs a lot of work so it’s a guessing game daily when I have to drive it. Or I would buy them a bigger home so they can have their own rooms. We use to have a house, but it flooded and we lost everything and started over a couple years ago.
