It’s not about being perfect, but being present, safe, and steady. The greatest lesson is that how I show up shapes how she sees herself, and that love, patience, and repair matter more than getting it right every time.

With $20K, I’d create a day my daughter will never forget, shopping, celebrating, and pouring into her confidence and joy. Then I’d use the rest to begin building a nonprofit: a safe, healing space for women and children, especially those overcoming trauma, offering mental health support, stability, and hope. It wouldn’t just be funding a dream, it would be planting something that changes lives, starting with ours.
