What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I love watching my kids grow up from being tiny humans to starting to think for themselves and watch their personalities grow and flourish and see some of myself in them but also what’s special and unique only to them.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me to hold tight to what’s important but also how to let go of the small stuff. Not every grade matters, not every sport activity will be won, not every moment will be happy. Every day with your children makes you appreciate life and the opportunity to help them grow into best human being they can be. Respect for themselves and others, the ability to cope and grow from the hard moments and appreciate and cherish the happy moments.

What would you do with $20,000?

Right now I’m having to take on additional work to make ends meet at home. Spending evenings on weeknights and a lot of time on the weekends to earn extra money to pay bills ends up being time I don’t get to spend with my kids. If I had $20,000 I would use it towards paying bills and paying off debt to lighten the burden where I could afford to spend more time with my kids without worrying about having to sacrifice being able to pay for something else later.
