It is both the most rewarding part and greatest honour of my life. Getting to watch them become who they are, not who I expected, but fully themselves. To witness their personalities, their quirks, their way of seeing the world. To show them it’s okay to be human and that they always have someone on their side. To remind them they matter, just as they are, and have a front row seat to who they’re becoming.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has shown me that we’re all human. There is no perfect mom and no perfect kid. What matters most is being able to say “I’m sorry,” to repair, and to keep showing up. It’s okay to be a mom and still care about yourself. If anything, it’s even more important now, because it’s not just you anymore!
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly, with some of it, I’d probably take my family on a trip or help my teenager get a more reliable car. But most of it would go toward something really meaningful to me. I’d put half into my business and use $10,000 for a fund I’ve created to help provide free postpartum counselling to new moms who need support but can’t afford it
