What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part about being a mom is knowing that I brought three lives into the world and not just any lives, but lives that I love infinitely more than I could ever love anything else. Each and every day I know I have done something exceptional with my life by bringing each of them into this world, that they may continue to do good.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that no matter how hard we try to be perfect as moms, we will always make mistakes. Having grace is very important because even though we make mistakes, somehow within us as mothers, we know our intention was to be the best for our children. We can do our best, have grace and intentionality, all the while knowing that sometimes we were less than perfect, but the love was always the same.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I were blessed with the $20,000, I would bring my children together, as they all live in different places, and that time means everything to me. My daughter was involved in Dance Marathon at FSU supporting Children’s Miracle Network, which is close to my heart, so I would use part of it to give back to causes like that. The rest I’d invest into wellness and healing so I can continue showing up strong for my family. Being their mom is the greatest gift of all.
