The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching the little pieces of myself and my husband show in our daughter. Watching her start to realize the world and seeing the best and worst qualities she got from us. It’s also equally as rewarding to see the qualities that are neither of us and just her and who she is growing to be.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I think the biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is patience and taking each thing moment by moment. I am such a planner. I love planning my life out and knowing what is happening. After having my daughter, I quickly realized that my timelines were jokes. I have had to learn to have patience when we are running late and be calm in situations where my plan falls through. I’ve also had to learn to get up early and plan ahead to make sure my plans are timely when I need them to be!
What would you do with $20,000?I would put the $20,000 toward my student loans. I became an attorney and took out loans while working full time to put myself through school. I am so grateful for my degree but my loans are a constant factor in my families future budget planning.
