What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being a mom of two little boys has brought so much love and happiness into my life. Whether it’s first thing in the morning before I leave for work or arriving home, I’ve always been met with a flood of hugs and excitement! Watching the boys exceed in everyday tasks independently has been so incredible to witness. They learn and grow so quickly, but I’ll admit they are the ones teaching me. They helped heal my inner child in ways no other thing could have. I’m forever grateful.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood is not the same experience for everyone. It can look very different with challenges that can only be understood by each individual going through their journey. I’ve learned to quit comparing my experience with others. It’s just not the same. I thank God for what I do have which is a loving husband I get to share each of our growing pains with.

What would you do with $20,000?

Realistically I’d have to use the $20,000 to pay down our second mortgage we took out on our house to get through tough times. While being married for the past five years, my husband and I have taken turns working so we could be with our kids full time. That comes with a cost. $20,000 would relieve so much stress of having to work two jobs during this season of our lives.
