Getting to see my boys grow from pouring all of my love and knowledge on them. Also making sure they know to be respectful young men, and how to care for others because that will pay off long down the road when they become a partner or spouse. Also advocating and accepting everything they feel and working through it, mental health is something I feel strongly on no matter the gender and I am so glad the acceptance of mental health has came so so far since I was young.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Patience! I used to fly off the handle, and become very irritable if something “went wrong” for example, cereal dumps everywhere, an egg cracks on the floor, they accidentally color where they’re not meant to color. I have done so much self work, that I am proud to say those little things don’t make me fly off the handle anymore, everyone makes mistakes and I’m glad that my kids and I can chuckle a little as we take care of the issue at hand together.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use $20,000 as a down payment on a house. My boys often ask why we can’t live in a mansion… haha now I don’t want a mansion but I would love to buy a nice single family home where we can really begin our fresh start after everything we’ve been through.
