Watching them step into their characters and become their own selves. This is the most magical time of my life, hands down. It provides me a sense of safety and chaos and joy and balance. Motherhood literally saved my life and gives me so much back that it is worth any sacrifice I’ve ever had to make. The concerts, games, awards ceremonies, meeting, specialist appointments, clubs, parties. Their accomplishments put my restless soul at peace
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?That’s tough because it’s taught me so much. Patience, acceptance, forgiveness, self control. Patience would probably be the most. I used to be a loose canon. They have calmed me taught me that instant gratification isn’t always possible or the best. Whether it’s dealing with the constant chaos or being patient through one of the many storms we’ve faced. I have learned to breathe through it all and have a brave face for them. Which has in turn made me so much stronger as a mother and a person.
What would you do with $20,000?Those chamces are so slim that I haven’t even thought that far ahead. It would definitely be something for our family or home, though.
