I love being their steady support, their safe place, and their biggest fan. In the chaos of practices, games, and busy days, it’s the hugs, laughter, and pride in who they’re becoming that mean the most.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that control is an illusion. When my kids were newborns, I thought I could plan, protect, and shape everything. But as they’ve grown, I’ve learned they are their own people. My role isn’t to control their path, but to guide, support, and trust them—and let go a little more each day.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I would first pay off debt to create financial stability and peace of mind for my family. Then, I would invest in my future by going back to school to earn my specialist degree in education, allowing me to grow in my career, better support my students, and continue setting an example for my children about the value of hard work and lifelong learning.
