Watching my daughters learn to learn and learn to experience. I love watching them navigate through, what we may see as mundane and daily. They see theses things as magical. Watching them approach new things like experiences, family, faith, or knowledge is my greatest joy as a mother. Seeing their minds bloom with possibility, and revelation. Celebrating with them when they make a connection and they understand. It’s like watching that proverbial light bulb switch on.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Unconditional love. It is hard to express the feeling you have when you first hold your little one. That is the unconditional love. It comes back when you hold them tight when they triumph and when they fail. When you hold them so tight even when it hurts. That unconditional love helps you find the last straw even when you felt there were none left. That smile you feel creeping up on your face as you watch them sleep, even when it’s been a long day. It helps you know it was all worth it.
What would you do with $20,000?I would purchase a car that has enough seats for my kids. I don’t currently own one that can fit all of the little car seats that I need. I look forward to getting them all in the car for each next adventure and stage. From car seats to drivers ed.
