As a mom of 3 littles, my favourite part of being a mom has been watching our children show each other kindness, empathy, and compassion. Don’t get me wrong - there’s lots of hard moments between the kids, but there’s nothing better than seeing them care for one another so naturally - it’s completely restores your hope in humanity, and makes you feel like “alright, we're all going to be okay”.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?TEAMWORK!! We always hear “It takes a village to raise a child”, but what we don’t hear is that, in Motherhood, what that actually looks like is, ACCEPTING HELP! Motherhood has taught me that, “NO - I CAN’T do this all on my own”, and “NO - I shouldn’t have to!”
What would you do with $20,000?I would invest the $20 000 into QueenCare, a charity I have co-founded through countless late nights, and volunteer hours! It is QueenCare’s mission to raise the bar for maternal health by creating essential support resources for birthing women and their families, including the development of our very own one-of-a-kind Mothering Centre. It is my goal to see this model of care become a normalized, expected resource in communities across our country. Because, how is it not!?!? 🤯
