I’m a super mom because I’m my children’s biggest fans, support team and banker. I got my kids no matter what
We would like to thank you for supporting Paulette Smith in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my children blossom into their own person. At each milestone, I become more and more proud of the person that they are becoming because I helped to mold them. It brings me a great sense of joy when they achieve their dreams no matter how big or small.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson that motherhood has taught me is trusting in my children and their abilities. I did my job, I got them to a good starting point in life, so now the rest is up to them. I had to learn to trust that they will remember the lessons that I taught them and that they will make wise decisions.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I would make some needed repairs and adjustments to our family home. Our home has been the focal point of our lives since 1999, when we first moved in. We have lived in different states over the years but we have always managed moved back to our little house. It has been and will always be home for my children. No matter how far they go, they will always have a place to stay in our family home. So I would like to fix it up and make adjustments to keep it working for years to come.
