I think the most rewarding part of being a mom is realizing that I am capable and strong. It has taught me to trust in myself and in God as I make so many decisions for a little person who fully trusts in me. Even on the days when I feel tired or unsure, seeing my son’s smile brightens my entire day. In my case, my son is still a toddler, but every little milestone, every “wow” moment for him, becomes a “wow” moment for me as well.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?It has taught me that a mother’s love for her child is truly unconditional. Through this, I have experienced a glimpse of God’s love in my own life. If I can love my son this deeply, I can only imagine how much greater God’s love is for me. Motherhood has also taught me that even when I feel tired, stressed, scared, or unwell, there is a little human being my greatest treasure who depends on me every day. My son has shown me that he is worth fighting for, no matter the circumstances.
What would you do with $20,000?I would pay some of our credit card debt and would pay for my mom's surgery.
