To see my children become good people, happy and positively contributing to society. The most heartfelt reward is to see them with their own children. To have finally understand the unconditional love and desire to protect someone more than themselves. To see them as kind loving parents to their own children validates the efforts and grows the love.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?To pause and be in the moment. Time goes by quickly and the moments that once caused frustration or anxiety, are the very moments we long for when our children have grown. It's better to have dirty dishes or a dusty house on occasion, than to have missed an opportunity when your child needed you.
What would you do with $20,000?I would put it in the grandchildren's college fund accounts.
