Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I would say it’s the moments when the day comes to an end and you get the snuggles and the moments where they just dump all their day on you trusting you’ll make them feel heard . I also love the moments when another parent comes and tells you how much they share about you with them and how much they couldn’t do life without you. That makes all the struggle worth it. We never know if we got it right but hearing them share you with others lets you know that to them, you’ve got it!

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Our children are to be protected but they also need to feel life, so they get the lessons 1st hand. We see our flaws and such come out when raising our own kids. All the things we battled and we fight so hard for them not to experience, but they need to experience some to become strong and resilient. And they usually do better than we think

What would you do with $20,000?

Omg! 1st off we are giving the 1st 10% back to giving! Option 1. I would let them redesign their room.. they always say “Mom can I just pick my own style” ahaha Option 2. (Better in my opinion) Spend a month in Europe so I can show them life lived slow and present. And perhaps find a place to volunteer one of the days Seeing how life is lived in other places really helps to inspire but also appreciate what we have here!
