What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is to slow down and truly soak in the small moments. I know everyone says it, but as a new mom I’m learning everything and she’s teaching me. All I can do is be present for it all! Every smile, every laugh, every cry, and cherish it instead of rushing to the next thing. Time truly does pass by so fast & I see it daily in the ways she changes or the things she learns and I don’t want to miss it or rush through it!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use the $20,000 to honor my mom, who raised me as a single mom and made every day special. I’d save a large portion for my daughter’s future, so she can have peace and security. With the rest, I’d take my daughter on a family beach trip with her grandma, who has never seen the ocean. We didn’t have vacations growing up, so giving them that experience would mean everything!
