I have taken on financial provider by myself, full time care giver to my husband and my kids with no help. It has been the hardest time.

Being able to give my kids what I didn’t have growing up by way of healthy family rhythms and emotional awareness and intelligence. It’s a hard and beautiful thing to grow along side them and face some of the things that shaped your childhood that weren’t necessarily the healthiest and choose better for yourself as a parent and for them as your children.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?That love is patient and kind. Embracing even the flawed parts of you does not make you less of a parent but challenges you to step up, grow and heal for them. It has taught me the beauty of humility and that asking for help is actually a strength.
What would you do with $20,000?The first would be to set aside a down payment for a home, it has been my kids dreams and us as a family to own a home. To be able to do that for them would be my biggest dream come true. The second would be to go on a family vacation, we have not gotten to do that as a family in a really long time.
