At 80 I should be just lazy, but my family needs me! At the age of 60, the company I worked for was outsourcing our jobs to India. So I along with 35 other employees were let go after trading the India people to do our jobs. .my youngest son needed help with my new grandson. So I became his new babysitter. My son and his wife divorced and he had 2 children now Cole and Lily. I helped raise them they both graduated high school and Cole graduated from Texas.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Patience's and the Love of my Family. And oh Lily is at Arkansas studying to be a doctor. My son has 3 children now and I’m still hanging around. He’s still not married but he’s been a Great Father! His dad has Dementia and he’s in poor health but he makes sure his father is taken care of. We all help. He’s not alone. Cassie my sons youngest daughter is 10 and ask me to come and make her my mashed potatoes for some reason she loves them so at least twice a month I come over and cook for her.
What would you do with $20,000?I would like to remodel my Condo, and take all my family on a dream vacation. Just to be with my family would be the best gift to all of us.I have problems walking now but a scooter is a welcome help for me.
