What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is having the power to raise my son to be a man who gives kindness, love, and respect to this world. It is important to be strong and confident, but he can still be those things while being kind and genuine. The other rewarding part of being a mom is the unconditional love I have for my son. I never knew my heart could grow so big. Lastly, the most rewarding part of being a stepmom to my stepdaughter is being there to support her in all aspects of life.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is how strong I am. I had a miscarriage in August 2024, and it took my husband and I almost a year to get pregnant with our son. I was losing hope and felt really empty inside, but looking back, I would not be the mother I am today if I had not been as strong as I was during the hardest moments of my life. Motherhood is not easy, but I have learned that giving my son love and being strong for him is what makes me the mother I am.

What would you do with $20,000?

My husband and I would use the money for a down payment on a house. The house that we were living in, part of the roof collapsed after a really bad storm, and then we found out the house had a lot of black mold in it. We had to rush to find somewhere to live and ended up renting a townhouse. The townhouse is nice, but I want to have my forever home where I can watch my son and stepdaughter grow up and eventually their children too.
