The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing how my children impact other's lives, and how they make a difference in this world. I love seeing their teachers' faces light up when I identify whose mom I am. It's an amazing sight. Of course I want my children to be successful academically but most important is the person they are on the inside and how they treat others. It's a privilege to love and guide them through both the good and difficult times in life that will impact who they become.

As a disabled mother I have always strived to rise above my limitations, mother with love, and be authentically me. The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is it really does take a village. Motherhood is unpredictable, amazing, challenging, and heartbreaking all at once but it takes strength to ask for help because as much as I want to be a super mom I've realized I can't succeed at this role all on my own. It isn't about being perfect, it's about being who your child needs.

You would think that this would be an easy question to answer but for us it is complicated. It could help us pay my medical expenses that insurance doesn't cover or could be put towards our children's college funds. This decision will be based on what is most impactful for our family.
