I take care of my family. Even after a full day of work I come home, cook dinner, help with homework, guide and support all of them.
We would like to thank you for supporting Nina Lombardi Nina Lombardi in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding part of being mom is watching the babies I gave birth to grow into nice young men. They are kind, respectful and happy. I love getting to watch them be good people to others around them. I also love when other people compliment my kids to me on what good kids they are, especially my 98 year old grandfather.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I learn from my kids every day. How to let things go, patience and kindness. I told my oldest the other day, I strive to be like him every day. He doesn't let things bother him and he doesn't let his feeling get hurt or feel left out. My youngest is the direct of activities, as I call him. I learn from him to have joy in everything.
What would you do with $20,000?Since I am an Italian mom, food is at the heart of our family. I would use the $20K to redo my kitchen. Its pretty small right now and I would love a large Kitchen where we could gather as family while I cook (its hard for one to be in there right now, and I am constantly asking everyone to move when they come in).
