The unconditional love and getting to experience life through their eyes they remind me everyday what truly matters. It’s taught me patience, strength, and a love I never knew before. Being an autism mom isn’t always easy but every hug and every smile makes it all worth it.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?To be present, take in and appreciate every single moment with your kids no matter how small it is. With the challenges my kids face everyday we make sure to celebrate every single moment, milestone and success they achieve.
What would you do with $20,000?It would go towards the therapy my kids need to help them learn to talk and communicate their needs and to get the things they need to make their day to day challenges easier for them. It would also go towards making our home a beautiful safe place so they can grow up with us and to help take care of them as they get older.
