The most rewarding part of being a mom is being my son’s safe place and watching him grow in his own unique way. As a level 3 autistic child, every milestone feels even more meaningful. The small wins, the quiet moments, and the trust he has in me remind me that my love, patience, and strength are shaping his world in the most important way.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me strength I didn’t know I had and patience I never thought possible. It’s shown me how to slow down, celebrate small victories, and love unconditionally. I’ve learned that being present matters more than being perfect, and that resilience, compassion, and showing up every day are what truly make a difference.
What would you do with $20,000?I would be able to purchase some sensory toys for my son for the home , or take a nice family vacation, which we’ve never been anywhere outside of Toronto .
