Getting to see the strides my little guys make. Both of my sons were preemies (35 and 36 weeks) and had to undergo oxygen treatments. Every day they hit new milestones and it is such an awe inspiring thing to see. My oldest (15 months) just started walking yesterday, and my youngest (5 months) is rolling over. I’m crying just thinking about how far they have come since the NICU.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Comparison is the thief of joy. My children will never be the same as other children, or each other. I needed ro be less critical of the pace they were growing at and just enjoy the ride.
What would you do with $20,000?I would pay down some debt, add to each of their savings accounts, and take some time off to be with them before jumping into my career with my masters degree.
