I don’t feel like a super mom—but everything I do, I do for my girls and our family, with faith, grit, and a whole lot of love.
We would like to thank you for supporting Nery L Naya in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
Watching my girls grow into who God created them to be is the greatest gift. Seeing their faith, confidence, and kindness take root reminds me that the little, everyday moments matter most. I admire their bravery and strength—especially through club volleyball—where they put themselves out there, willing to fail or succeed. They inspire me to keep working hard and to walk with them through the lessons sports/life brings.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you? That love is sacrificial, patient, and deeply humbling. Motherhood has taught me to surrender control, trust God more, and lead by example. My girls are always watching, and that has challenged me to become the woman I hope they would want to grow up to be—faithful, strong, and full of grace.
What would you do with $20,000?If I were blessed with $20,000, I would bring our entire family together—grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins—for a trip we’d talk about for years to come. My oldest daughter is turning 15, and in our culture, a quinceañera is such a special milestone. I would use this gift to celebrate her in a meaningful way, surrounded by the people who love her most, creating memories rooted in family, joy, and gratitude.
