I chose courage over comfort—leaving a marriage, crossing continents, and rebuilding a life where both my daughters could stand tall in.

Watching them evolve into the kindest, most intelligent, most understanding humans I know. And I have met a good share of people — my daughters are still the best ones. Honestly, it's unbelievable that these two wonderful girls came out of me. I always joke that maybe they got swapped at the hospital. But then I look closer — and I think, no. I made this. And that feeling? Nothing touches it.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson? Children don't hear your words — they watch your life. So I stopped being the doormat I had become. I stepped up, stood tall, walked out. Not because it was easy. Because they were watching. And I refused to teach my daughters to shrink. Turns out, in teaching them, I finally learned it too.
What would you do with $20,000?Twenty thousand dollars and I know exactly where it goes. I wrote a memoir — Ashes to Armor — about leaving an arranged marriage, crossing continents, and rebuilding my life from scratch while fighting my own medical battles. This money would help me get that story into the right hands — an entertainment lawyer, the right producers, the right rooms. The rest? A small step toward financial freedom for my daughters and me. Every dollar, intentional. Just like every step I've taken since.
