The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my boys grow into kind, resilient humans. Seeing them learn to handle challenges, show empathy, and believe in themselves reminds me that the hard days are worth it. As a single mom and business owner, I don’t just tell them how to be strong,I live it for them. I model hard work and lead by example. Knowing I’m shaping who they become is the greatest reward.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that my role isn’t to protect my kids from life, but to guide them through it. I can’t shield them from every fall, but I can give them the tools to rise; resilience, empathy, and confidence. As a single mom and business owner, I’ve learned to let go of control while staying deeply present. The biggest lesson: strength isn’t in preventing struggle, but in teaching them they can handle it with my guidance.
What would you do with $20,000?I wouldn’t spend the $20,000. I would invest it. I’d grow Rise Village, the community I built as a single mom, to reach more families and create real impact. This isn’t just about me, it’s about building something that lasts, for my boys and for every family that needs support.
