A super mom is someone who sacrifices hugs and milestones, enduring the pain of distance so she can give her kids a safer, brighter future.
We would like to thank you for supporting Nadjillah Velasco in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is the inconditional love. There’s something powerful about being someone’s safe place. The person they run to when they’re hurt, excited, scared, or proud. That kind of bond is hard to describe, but it’s incredibly fulfilling.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood taught me selflessness, but in a deeper way than people expect. It’s not about losing yourself. It’s about growing into a stronger, more resilient version of yourself while caring for someone else.
What would you do with $20,000?My top priority would be securing my family’s future. I would start by setting aside a portion as an emergency fund to make sure we’re prepared for any unexpected situations. Having that financial safety net would give us stability and peace of mind.
