The best, most rewarding part of being a mom is knowing that I created 4 people, with whole entire lives ahead of them. Futures, aspirations, goals, likes and dislikes... it's scary, too, but it's rewarding and amazing more than anything else.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I've come to learn just how strong I really am. When I was younger, I had a lot of problems with my self-esteem and always felt less-than or small. But motherhood has taught me I'm stronger and more resilient than I've ever known.
What would you do with $20,000?I'd buy improved wooded land in the countryside near the Ohio Valley, put a doublewide on the property, and save the rest in high-yield CD accounts for each of our 4 kids for when they each turn 18. This would ensure we don't have to worry about housing again, and they have a good starting point once they're adults.
