I am a single momma of 2, I work hard to provide for my family. I left a toxic relationship with my youngest father & couldn’t be more happy
We would like to thank you for supporting Morgan McCormick in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding thing is watching my child grow into their own person—seeing their personality, their kindness, and knowing I had a part in shaping that. There’s nothing more fulfilling than that kind of love.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Being a mother has given me purpose in life, something I had not had before. It has taught me patience I didn’t know I had, and a kind of love that’s deeper and more unconditional than anything I’ve experienced. It’s shown me how strong and selfless I can be, even on the hardest days.
What would you do with $20,000?I would quit my job as a correctional officer and spend as much time with my children as I could. Sometimes I work 16 hour days just to provide for my babies, it would be a blessing to have a break from that. I would put a down payment on a home and start a new chapter of life with my children. I started over from nothing after leaving a very toxic relationship with my youngest child’s father. I work very hard for what I have and only want the best for children.
