The Bible tells us that, “children are the heritage of the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is His reward.” It’s hard to say one part is more rewarding than another. The mere fact that God chose my babies for me and saw fit to give me stewardship of them for a time, that’s the most! But Getting to see them grow and learn in their own walk with God, I have no greater joy!
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?That total dependence on Jesus is 100% necessary. Being a mom helps you see where you have room and/ or need to grow. Not in a, Oh no I’m so horrible at this or that, or less than in any way, but it’s Gods gift of showing us where we need Him more. Revealing his grace and how we are to be gracious as He is to us. Seeing how easily they can forgive me for messing up or handling things wrong is the biggest reminder of God’s forgiveness for us and how we’re to do the same.
What would you do with $20,000?Use it as a down payment for a new home. As we have out grown our current 3 bedroom home.
