Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Motherhood is the BEST & hardest job that I'll ever love. As an entrepreneurial Mom with multiple jobs, my 2 daughters are my daily reminder that nothing is more important than family. The most rewarding moments happen as I see my girls grow into their individuality. I LOVE THEM - just the way they are. I could feel their little personalities inside my womb, & now, I get to watch them bloom! Mabel is bold/feisty. Everly is joyful/content. BOTH girls are STRONG & that is a reward to witness.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has made me, me. At 33w pregnant, I was diagnosed w/ severe preeclampsia. The Dr. told my husband to prioritize the baby or me -He said both. We all fought for each other. From 2.8lbs - 5lbs, 2 months later, we left the NICU w/ our small but mighty preemie, Mabel! 21 months later, we were blessed w/ another pregnancy, Everly! At 14w pregnant (high risk), my father took his life leaving us with so much to juggle. Suicide prevention needs awareness. Motherhood= conquering life together.

What would you do with $20,000?

The strongest people often need the most support. My Dad was larger than life, but struggled w/ depression & panic, choosing suicide. He was unable to ask for help or accept it, even when those he loved knew he needed it. It's still unimaginable. Our lives have been flipped upside down & his pain just transferred. As we all struggle w/ PTSD, my mother was left with absolutely nothing... no home, debt, unknown legal issues. My MOM IS SUPER MOM. I'd give her the $20k to get back on her feet.
