I work 7 days a week as a single mom, but my kids always come first. Even exhausted, I show up with love, strength, and everything I’ve got.
We would like to thank you for supporting Mindy Ainley in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is knowing my kids feel loved no matter what. Watching them grow, come to me, and trust me means everything to me.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that I’m stronger than I ever thought I was. I’ve learned how to keep going even when I’m exhausted, how to put my kids first no matter what, and how to love in a way that’s patient and unconditional. It’s shown me that I don’t have to be perfect. I just have to be there, be consistent, and give them everything I’ve got.
What would you do with $20,000?If I had $20,000, I’d take a breath first, because that kind of help would mean everything. I’d pay down bills, take some stress off my shoulders, and make life a little easier for my kids. I’d set some aside for their future and use the rest to create stability so I can keep showing up for them the way they deserve
