The most rewarding part of being a mom is the deep, unconditional love in every moment. Being a Marine mom is bittersweet; I miss my son and worry, but I am incredibly proud of his strength and the commitment he’s made to serve. Being a pug mom adds a special joy—they follow me everywhere and shower me with endless affection. It’s a love filled with pride, joy, and a little ache.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is learning to let go. Watching my son grow into an amazing man has filled me with pride, but it hasn’t been easy. I’ve had to accept that he’s finding his own path, making his own choices, and becoming who he’s meant to be. Letting go doesn’t mean loving him any less—it means trusting the values I’ve instilled and believing in the man he’s becoming.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I would pay off bills to create peace of mind and financial stability. I’d take a meaningful trip to Japan to visit my incredible son and spend precious time together. I’d also treat my pugs to a fun beach day, letting them run in the sand and soak up the joy. It would be a perfect balance of responsibility, love, and making unforgettable memories.
