What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my boys grow into strong, kind men & knowing I helped shape who they’ve become. I see pieces of me in them, but I’m even more proud of the parts that are entirely their own. It hasn’t been easy, but every challenge was worth it. The love we share is deep, unconditional, & unbreakable. Now, when life gets hard, they’re there for me too…not out of obligation, but out of love. Being their mom is, and always will be, my greatest accomplishment.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me that life is short and time moves faster than you expect, but love is what truly matters. Let go of what doesn’t serve you and cherish the small moments. Being a mom changes you and who you strive to be. You grow because you want to be better for your kids. You teach them resilience by living it, and sometimes that means being brave enough to make hard choices and start over to live your best life to be a role model and best version of yourself for your kids.

What would you do with $20,000?

What I would do with the money is give each of my sons $5,000 to pursue their own dreams….whether that’s starting a business, investing, furthering their education, or taking a meaningful trip. The remaining $5,000 I’d use to help myself get back on my feet financially after a 30-year marriage and going through a divorce. That breathing room would ease some of the pressure and give me a fresh start with a few less worries.
