For me when my daughter seeks adventure on her own or helps others, that’s the best part. I wanted to teach her kindness and a passion for knowledge and exploring. When I’m able to watch her excel on her own I know I’ve done my job.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I’m reminded daily that although I’m imperfect I can teach her to strive for her personal best. I have several health conditions that hinder my activities and sometimes (personal)happiness. During rough times I’m reminded that even when I can’t be there I have given her all the tools to enjoy life. She will be ok when I’m gone and that’s enough some days.
What would you do with $20,000?I would absolutely put money aside for her education. Taking a few trips while I’m able to would be next on the list, as many memories as possible! Aside from that I’d really use the money to fund projects she loves. Delaney is big on FFA and I would love to put some money towards equipment and higher quality animals for her to work with.
