Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

It’s being the person that my daughter looks up to the most. Showing her how to work hard, persevere, laugh, loves and all the other things. No matter how hard the work day is I take one look at her and all the bad things go away replaced by a smile. Watching her grow these past 16 months has been truly fascinating. She keeps me on my toes, makes me pull my hair out, makes me cry happy tears and I wouldn’t change anything in the world.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

That I’m not perfect and no mom is. We all do things differently because our children our all different. What worked for my daughter doesn’t work for others. This truly taught me not to judge other parents because aren’t we all just trying our best to raise good humans? There is a difference between asking for advice and receiving criticism in the process. I have also learned not to compare other kids to my own and think mine is behind. Every kid develops in their own way and their own pace. <3

What would you do with $20,000?

It would help my family immensely. My father recently had a heart transplant and has been in and out of the hospital. To be quite frank it would go towards my parents house because without them and their help raising my kids I honestly don’t know what I would do. Being able to raise my daughter with the help of my parents is truly the most amazing thing and if I can give back to them in the slightest would be great.
