What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me that I don’t need to control every outcome to raise strong, capable kids. Instead, I focus on guiding them, setting high standards, and giving them the space to grow, learn, and sometimes fail. It’s strengthened my patience, resilience, and ability to lead by example. The biggest lesson has been realizing that perfection isn’t the goal - consistency, support, and showing up every day is what truly shapes who they become.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I won $20,000, I would invest in my family and our future. A portion would support my boys’ development - particularly their passion for hockey and opportunities that build confidence and leadership. I would also set aside savings for their education and use a portion to create meaningful family experiences. Any remaining funds would be used to support initiatives that strengthen our local community.
