Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

There was a time when I wasn’t sure motherhood would even be part of my story. Because of that, I don’t take a single moment for granted. The everyday things, bedtime routines, school drop-offs, the silliness and laughter over something small, they mean everything to me. Watching my children grow into who they are, while enjoying the everyday moments, the trust, the love, and knowing you’re their safe place. There is nothing like it!

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me that love is stronger than fear, patience grows in the hardest moments, and I can’t control everything. Finding out I was pregnant the day I lost my mom showed me that grief and purpose can coexist. The biggest lesson is that being present, showing up with love, and embracing imperfection shapes both my children and who I am becoming every day.

What would you do with $20,000?

It’s been a tough year, so we’d use it to pay down debt and give our family some breathing room. It would help us better position ourselves for the future, which means everything right now. We’d also set some aside for the kids’ education and plan a trip together, something to reconnect and make memories after a challenging time.
