You don’t become a “super mom “ because everything is perfect. You become one because how you show up, especially on hard days.
We would like to thank you for supporting Meghan Swanson in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding thing about being a mom is hard to put into one sentence, because it’s usually not the big moments — it’s the small ones that hit you the hardest. Being a mom is exhausting, frustrating, emotional, and sometimes overwhelming… but it’s also a kind of love you don’t experience anywhere else. You’re literally watching your heart grow and walk around outside your body. Being someone’s whole world while they slowly become their own person and knowing you helped them get there.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood teaches you one big lesson over and over in different ways. A lot of moms go into it wanting to do everything “right.” Perfect schedules, perfect reactions, perfect balance. But kids don’t follow scripts. They get sick, they melt down, they surprise you, they challenge you… and that’s where the real growth happens. Motherhood teaches you that love isn’t about control or perfection… it’s about showing up, over and over again.
What would you do with $20,000?I’d think about it in a smart, balanced way instead of spending it all in one place. The best use usually includes saving, investing, and improving your life in some way.
