What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I love watching my girls learn and grow. Whether it’s mastering a new skill in gymnastics or conquering even the smallest fear, getting the chance to witness their little victories is magical. Their hugs at the end of a crazy day always help to put things back into perspective.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me that it is impossible to control all situations. It is truly a journey and sometimes life takes you down paths that you never expected or dreamed of for your children (good or bad). It is teaching me patience, empathy and to find joy in all the little moments. Also, it’s okay to ask for help. It really does take a village.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 would allow me to be more present at home with my youngest daughter, who was recently diagnosed with autism. She has been unable to attend school, and some of the interventions that would help her are costly. It would ease the financial strain of fulltime childcare during what has been an unexpected and challenging transition for our family. This support would give us the flexibility we need to find our footing, and focus on meeting her needs while navigating this new journey.
