The most rewarding part of being a mom is being the safe place my kids can fall apart. I don’t always appreciate it in the moment, but reflecting on it, I love witnessing their achievements, their joy, and who they’re becoming. Getting to know what makes each of them tick is a gift. Knowing they feel safe enough to come to me, even when life feels messy, means everything.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is how much I still need to grow. It has a way of putting my flaws and weaknesses on display almost daily. Through that, I’ve learned the importance of vulnerability—setting aside pride and shame, owning my mistakes, asking for forgiveness, and trying again. My kids are constantly shaping and teaching me that growth is always possible if we’re willing to stay open to it.
What would you do with $20,000?If I were awarded $20,000, I would love to create lasting memories by taking my family on a vacation, while also setting aside a portion to invest in our future.
