What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

For me the most rewarding part of being a mom is being able to watch the world come to life in my sons eyes. Seeing his personality bloom more and more while he discovers/ learns new and exciting things is the most amazing thing to witness and watch. There is something about watching your child learn and become their own little person that is indescribable. And knowing that through everything my son calls me mommy and gives me the biggest hugs and kisses and that itself is the best part.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me patience and how to lean on my faith, starting with the infertility struggles knowing that becoming a mom was going to take time and trusting that the Lord would guide the process. Moving to my son being born and having to go to NICU for breathing issues and knowing that he had the best care and that again the Lord was guiding the process I had to have the patience to let the doctors and nurses do their best and let my son recover. And this is just the beginning.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000 I would put most into my sons bank account for him to have when he decides what he wants to do in life. I would use some to invest in the small herd of cattle we have started for him. The herd of cattle is to help him gain life skills like responsibility and the value of money. Investing in my sons future is most important for me!
