I have truly love being a mom, especially growing through my own mistakes and showing my children that no one is perfect. The most rewarding part has been knowing that my actions, even the hard lessons, are shaping who they become. By learning, trying again, and staying present, I’m teaching them resilience, love, and strength; and that kind of impact means everything to me.I give them the love that I desired to have growing up.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that growth is constant, and perfection isn’t the goal; presence is. I’ve learned to show up with love, even on hard days, and to be honest about my mistakes. In doing that, I’m teaching my children resilience, strength, and grace. The biggest lesson is that who I am, how I grow and keep going, is the example they’ll carry with them.
What would you do with $20,000?If I had $20,000, I would first focus on paying off my debt so that when I finish my doctorate degree, I can truly feel accomplished and step into that next chapter with peace of mind. I would also finish paying my car off, so I can reduce monthly expenses. Doing that would allow me to provide the things I need to for my family versus simply surviving.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Super Mom, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
