What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing my kids thrive and succeed at their favorite events, and watching their relationship with the Lord grow. I want them to become compassionate, driven, and respectful humans! To date, my most rewarding point has been watching my two older kids step up to help their brother; love and support him like there is no difference between them. The unconditional love of siblings is so beautiful to observe.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Just when you thought you knew what you were doing, another curveball comes to keep you on your toes! My third child was diagnosed with a rare brain disease at 3 months old. My mom intuition knew something was wrong and led to early intervention. Now we are in an new world navigating his condition! Therapy, specialists, medical equipment, and constant doctor appointments aren't something you normally plan for while pregnant. However, with the right team and support, anything is possible!

What would you do with $20,000?

The $20,000 would go directly to home renovations! My youngest will need life long care and is wheelchair bound, but our home is currently not accessible for him. We have started to make plans, but having surgeries every year has prevented us from moving forward. It has been my dream to live in this house, my childhood home that my father built, but there are many changes that need to happen to make it a happy home for everyone.
