Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my boys grow into respectful, kind, hardworking humans. This shows me that through the rough times, sweat, tears and absent hours that I was at work providing for them, they saw the hardwork that it took to provide for them and they took the positives and will Pay it forward.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

I don’t have just one but 2 big lessons. The first is cherish every moment with my children because tomorrow is never promised. The second, is take the time to listen to your children because there is so much we can learn from them. Watching my young son battle cancer for 4 years has put so much into Perspective for me. I live IN the moment and not the future and watching him fight so hard and never complain of the pain, the surgeries the hospital stays shows how strong a child really is.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20k would change my life . Currently my son has relapsed with cancer for a second time. This will be his 3rd battle and with $20k I could stop Working and be by his side for every treatment. As a single mom I need some form of income and need to stay working to provide for my boys as I have 1 going off to college in the fall. It would be a god sent if I had a cushion of money and could focus on my son And his health 24/7.
